Fed up

I'm fed up. Of everything.

Tomorrow I'm going to see my parents and my gran and my cousins. I hope that helps. Not that hoping is a good plan.

We shall see.

Maybe I should write down all that's rubbish. But I'm not sure I could handle it.

I could write down all that's good, but it hasn't been working at cheering me up so far.

Maybe I should just shut up.

Nooooo don't shut up! Ever.

Write some postcards to people with crazy stuff on.
Dye the ends of your hair to match the colour of your current top.
Book some time off work. ... And. Do. Nothing. (Well reading / watching films / sitting atop Arthurs seat (before descending to the pub) / strolling on one of them loooong beaches not farr from Edinburgh.

Oh no!

Trust me, I know the feeling, and it's really not a good one.

Just remember...

Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle,
Don't grumble, give a whistle,
And this'll help things turn out for the best.

AND...
Always look on the bright side of life... *whistle*
Always look on the light side of life... *whistle*

If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten,
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps!
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

AND...
Always look on the bright side of life... *whistle*
Always look on the light side of life... *whistle*

For life is quite absurd,
And death's the final word,
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin!
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

SO...
Always look on the bright side of death... *whistle*
Just before you draw your terminal breath... *whistle*

Life's a piece of shit,
When you look at it,
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show,
Keep 'em laughing as you go!
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

AND...
Always look on the bright side of life... *whistle*
Always look on the right side of life... *whistle*

Worse things happen at sea, you know.

I was talking to Lindy in the pub last night, and saying how much I was looking forward to our Rome trip. Less than two months to go!
