Courgettes are young marrows, FACT.

(That was an argument from the pub yesterday.)
I've got some free songs on iTunes (couretsy of people at work and Diet Coke), so any suggestions?
Hopefully tonight is the night for the holiday blog. And the wedding at the weekend.

I was right. I was right!
Hurrah.
General smugness!
OK, OK. But it's a fruit, rather than a vegetable - there's my little fact. But I'm sure everyone knows it's the swollen ovary of the zucchini flower!
Definitely a fruit!
On a more serious note, I'd have thought that, while technically true, it's not the complete truth - you'd have a variety of marrow that produced tasty courgettes, while "traditional" varieties would be not very tasty at all until they're fully matured.
But I'm guessing, and I can't stand courgettes anyway (they make me feel inadequate, for a start).
The flowers can be cooked into a very tasty dish, actually. Something of an Italian delicacy, methinks.
My favourite songs of the moment are The Songs That We Sing by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lady Of The Sea by Seth Lakeman.
Enjoy, whatever you get!
